What are plastic welding rods? I have found some generic rod that I can use for my plastic welding project. This should work, right?

Plastic welding rod is rods of plastic made from the type of thermoplastic that you are trying to weld. When welding plastic it’s important to use like materials so the weld is strong. Example HDPE rod to HDPE sub straight. Therefore, it is imperative that you know what materials you are working with.
